The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG x Union Los Angeles “Black Toe” is a highly acclaimed collaboration between Nike / Jordan Brand and the Los Angeles boutique Union Los Angeles, reworking the classic Air Jordan 1 through a vintage-inspired, deconstructed lens.
Built on the iconic Air Jordan 1 High OG, the sneaker blends two eras of design into one cohesive concept. The upper features a familiar “Black Toe” color blocking, using white leather at the base, black overlays at the toe and Swoosh, and red accents on the collar and heel—directly referencing one of the most legendary AJ1 colorways.
What sets the Union collaboration apart is its signature construction twist: a stitched, pre-yellowed mid-panel seam, designed to make the shoe look like two different vintage Jordan 1s were reconstructed into a single pair. This exposed stitching detail, combined with slightly aged midsoles, gives the sneaker a retro, archival aesthetic.
